Our farm is located in the Northwest corner of Upshur County, Texas, near Winnsboro, Pittsburg and Gilmer. We began our farm with cattle in 1990; all the while, having a passion for horses. In 2002, we purchased an AQHA Stallion ~ RED SONGS DRIFTER. With the gene pool package of champions and a SUPER HORSE, we began our search for the mares to compliment that gene pool to create offspring with correct conformation, good minds, cow sense and a people pleasing attitude. In addition to all of these mandatory traits, we at Birch Creek have been blessed with both color and good looks. As a result, we offer offspring from these well known bloodlines: Mr Baron Red, Zippo Pine Bar, Two Eyed Jack, Rugged Lark, Sonitas's Last, Speedy Glow, Doc's Prescription, Chick Jay, Fritz Command, Peppy San Badger and more. Believing we needed more than one foal crop for evaluation, we now have on hand foals from 5 crops. The meticulous selection of individuals has proven successful, in that, with what we have available, our customers can go in any direction they desire ~ from the cutting, roping, penning and reining pens to the trail.
